NatureBox was kind enough to send me their November box to review. It was full of all sorts of healthy goodies. Before I detail all the deliciousness, let me tell you a little bit about NatureBox.
NatureBox is a monthly subscription service that offers full size packages of healthy snacks at an affordable price. They currently ship to the 48 continental states as well as FPO/APO addresses and P.O Boxes.
NatureBox puts our products made from wholesome ingredients that are Nutritionist approved. They do NOT use high fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated oils, trans fats, artificial sweeteners or artificial colors
NatureBox is all about reciprocity. For every box that gets sent out, they donate one meal to help feed the over 14 million children in America who go hungry each year.
They are currently working on new boxes that will address various dietary needs and personal food preferences such as gluten-free, vegan, low sugar, nut-free, etc.
Now... Let's talk about what this months box consisted of...
Carrot Chips
Cinnamon Spiced Granola
Chipotle Maple Almonds
Country Ranch Peas
Roasted Garlic Pumpkin Seeds
My favorites were the almonds, peas, and pumpkin seeds. The chipotle maple almonds were the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. They had a very clean taste (If that makes sense). I really liked them. The country ranch peas were super crunchy and had great ranch flavor. I love ranch dressing more than I care to admit. So, I was not at all surprised that I liked them. The roasted garlic pumpkin seeds were very garlicky. Which to me, is a wonderful thing. If you follow my recipes at all, then you know that I put garlic in nearly everything. Now for my least favorites. I was not too fond of the carrot chips. They had an awesome crunch to them but they had a stale flavor and smell to them that was sort of off-putting. I liked the granola but thought that it lacked the crunch I typically love in a good granola. I still think it would be good in yogurt though. I loved 3 of the 5 snacks in this months box and for me, that was enough to get a subscription. I love the concept behind NatureBox. Not only do I love getting packages in the mail, but I am always looking for new healthy snack options.
