Balsamic Shallot Mushrooms


BALSAMIC SHALLOT MUSHROOMS
This is the perfect side dish to compliment a nice, juicy steak and a glass of red wine.  It is simple to prepare yet has a rich, complex flavor that is sure to make your mouth happy.

INGREDIENTS
3 Tbs. Salted Butter
1 Large Shallot – Minced
1 lb. Cremini Mushrooms – Quartered
¼ Cup Beef Stock
¼ Cup Balsamic Vinegar
2 Tbs. Italian Flat Leaf Parsley - Chopped
(2 Tbs. Peace and Love)

DIRECTIONS
In a large sauté pan over medium heat, add butter and shallot.  Sauté until shallots are tender and translucent.  About 3-5 minutes.

To the pan, add mushrooms, beef stock, balsamic vinegar and parsley.  Increase heat to medium-high, bring to a boil, and then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 8-10 minutes. 

Prep Time – 5 Minutes
Cook Time – 15 Minutes
